BIOGRAPHY

Xinyan Li is a Postdoctoral Associate at Rice University. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Institute of Physics (IOP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) with Prof. Lin Gu. His research focused on in-situ scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) and the characterization of ferroelectric and energy materials. After graduating from IOP CAS, he joined Prof. Ramamoorthy Ramesh and Prof. Yimo Han’s group at Rice University to expand his knowledge on four-dimensional scanning transmission electron microscopy (4D-STEM), as well as develop in-situ 4D-STEM methods for the characterization of multiferroic and 2D ferroelectric materials.
