BIOGRAPHY
Pauline earned her Ph.D. from Rice University in 2025. Before that, she earned her B.A. in Psychology from Swarthmore College (2014), a post-baccalaureate certificate in Psychological Sciences from UC Irvine (2019), and her M.A. in Psychological Sciences - Affective Neuroscience and Health Psychology RIGs - at Rice University (2024).
She is an NIH-funded Postdoctoral Research Fellow for Dr. Christopher Fagundes at the Institute of Health Resilience and Innovation at Rice University. Her current research focuses on how emotion regulation and other modifiable factors can be targeted for dementia spousal caregiver health and resilience. Outside of research, Pauline is usually curled up on the couch with her husband and cats, going out for a jog, enjoying a glass of wine/beer, or hemming T-shirts that are too long for her short torso.
