BIOGRAPHY

Josiah Taru is an anthropologist whose research focuses on the everyday life of Pentecostal Christians in a highly informal Zimbabwean economy. His work explores how religion shapes individual and collective economic subjectivities as well as how religious communities interact with technology. Since joining the Boniuk Institute, Josiah investigates the interaction of religion and science within religious and scientific communities.
