BIOGRAPHY

I'm a graduate of UVA's Critical and Comparative Studies program. My research is concerned with the intersection of gender and race in music performance: my dissertation focused on women in so-called "colorblind" Broadway productions and the limits of representation. I'll be working with Dr. Danielle Ward-Griffin at Rice. When I'm not writing or researching, I like baking and reading horror novels.
