BIOGRAPHY

I received the B. Sc., M. Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Industrial de Santander, Colombia, in 2016, 2018, and 2023, respectively. My main research interests lie in the intersection of diverse research areas such as computational imaging, compressive sensing, high-dimensional signal processing, optimization, integrated sensing and communications, and machine learning. As a Rice Academy Fellow, I will be working under the direction of Drs. Ashutosh Sabharwal and Ashok Veeraraghavan at the Electrical and Computer Engineering department on the development of next-generation communication networks that can "see" the world with higher resolution capabilities than current technologies. I enjoy playing tennis, solving chess puzzles, and walking in natural landscapes in my free time.
